About this role
Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary, NC, is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join its new Oncology service. In this role, you will help launch and grow the service during an exciting period of expansion, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the team, hospital culture, and community.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of the oncology service in collaboration with the oncologist.
Assist with cancer staging, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses.
Safely handle, prepare, and dispose of cytotoxic medications according to safety protocols.
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication calculations.
