General Summary: The candidate will contribute to the development of a PALMS-based method to identify the binding site of a compound on its target protein in a cellular context. While the PALMS workflow is currently applicable to purified recombinant proteins, its implementation for transmembrane proteins such as GPCRs and ion channels remains challenging. Extending PALMS approach to native cellular systems would represent a significant advancement. Working closely with the Mass Spectrometry, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics teams, the candidate will participate in the development of novel probes enabling the identification of binding sites on proteins of interest in a cellular context.…
