Job Description TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Participates in the planning, organizing and evaluation of rehabilitation programs in support of Extendicare’s philosophy of restorative care. 2. Assists residents’ participation in planned programs which include positioning, ambulation, physical functioning and activities of daily living, as designed or designated by the Occupational Therapist. 3. Provides physical support and encouragement to residents during periods of exercise and activity ensuring against falls and injuries, and using proper body mechanics at all times. 4.
