About this role
Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping the warehouse inventory current. Works with department managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, customer service, production planning, quality assurance, and purchasing. Supervises activities being conducted and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity during all shifts. Hires and releases warehouse personnel as required to maintain an efficient warehouse and shipping operation. Responsible for employee relations, personnel training programs, discipline, and appraisals. Maintains team member payroll and absenteeism reports.…
