About this role
United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is an open-cut coal mine located 16 kilometres west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. UWJV is a 50:50 joint venture between United Collieries (Glencore and MEU) and Wambo Coal (Peabody). The Opportunity Operations commenced in 2020 and the mine is forecast to produce up to 10 million tonnes per annum of thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal through to 2039. United Wambo was named NSW Mining Operation of the Year in 2022. Bring your heavy mobile plant experience to a long-life Hunter Valley operation where trade quality, equipment reliability and safe execution matter.
