Job Description Summary The Welder is responsible for welding various parts and components as required by the department, utilizing both manual and automated TIG welding processes on sheet metal and small diameter tubular parts. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and weld different metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and aluminum. The role involves setting up welding machines, making necessary adjustments, and prepping parts for welding according to work instructions and blueprints. The candidate will work to tight tolerances to meet dimensional requirements, using specific methods, fixtures, and gauges, and collaborate with ME/Weld Engineers to resolve weld-related issues.…
