Job Description Summary Job Description Reporting to the Cell Leader in Component Repair weld shop. The ability to weld and braze precision aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test. Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components. Responsibilities Carry out TIG welding of aircraft engine components to fine tolerance limits. Knowledge of brazing procedures. Perform a level of mechanical fitting functions. Familiar with engineering drawings and OEM technical manuals. Use of measuring equipment and be able to inspect engine components. Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration. Good manual dexterity. PC work including working with OEM manuals.…
