Location: Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre (GSWB) Shift: Nights (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: No Job Summary: A Certified Polysomnographic Technician develops competency in and performs the basics of polysomnographic testing and associated interventions. Job Duties: Gathers and Analyzes Patient Information Verifies the medical order and protocol. Registers patients and verify all insurance and demographic information, outpatient data, and any other patient and family information deemed necessary. Explains pre-testing, testing and post testing as well as orient the patient to the Sleep Lab. Testing Preparation Procedures Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning.…
