*This position is located in Hope River, PEI* Key Responsibilities: Adhere to and enforce health and safety policies and procedures, use proper personal protective equipment and other safety equipment. Ensures compliance with WCB safety procedures. Operate heavy equipment regularly including: Landfill Compactor. Dozer. Excavator. Rock Truck. Assess incoming material for disposal to determine the contamination rates, determine when contamination levels are exceeded and communicate accordingly. Interact with the customers (public and contract haulers) delivering material, other staff, service providers, etc. in a courteous and professional manner. Shape landfill cells and add daily cover according to sequencing plans and as directed.…
