Day (United States of America) HIM Specialist - Hospice The HIM Specialist is responsible for the release of medical information; assisting in the analysis and processing of incomplete medical records, distribution functions, completion of birth certificates, and processing of internal and external requests; provides assistance to the physicians in completion of records. Provides excellent customer service to all customers. - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. - Two (2) years of college and/or other related course work, such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology preferred. - RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) credential preferred. - 1-3 years progressive Health Information Management experience preferred - Must have proficient computer skills.…
