The Assistant Director, Tax will be responsible for coordinating the Hartford State Indirect Tax processes which includes: Review and filing of sales & use, and personal property tax returns and associated payments. Management of sales & use tax audits, specifically CT, but other states as needed. Coordinate with The Hartford’s procurement team to ensure that sales taxes have been properly applied to purchases. Oversee various tax projects, planning initiatives, and automation strategies.…
