Job Summary The Lead Unit Design Engineer is part of the Engineered Solutions group and leads all engineering activities associated with new unit design within Hayward Tyler, and more. The position requires someone who is organized, focused on continuous improvement, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment where difficult problems may need simple or complex solutions. Someone who is successful in this role will have a strong technical engineering background, experience with rotating equipment, and can lead and supervise a group of 1-6 engineers. They will be comfortable working with other areas of the business, such as quality, supply chain, and manufacturing, to ensure a seamless rollout of new unit designs from clean sheet through shipping, and beyond.…
