About this role
The production assembler is responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit according to drawings, travelers, and manufacturing procedures. Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to: Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope. Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line. It operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces. Reworks malfunctioning units. Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units. Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.…
