Job Description: This position is responsible for performing massage therapy techniques for relaxation, pain management, or therapeutic purposes as discussed/recommended by the interdisciplinary care team. Techniques employed may include: Compassionate Touch®, Everflowing* and other massage techniques in the context of hospice care. Provide muscular therapy to promote relaxation, release of muscular tension, and an increase in body awareness. Also performs energy work such as Reiki, Healing Touch, and movement awareness/education. Job Functions Assess patients to determine effective methodologies. Reviews client's medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information before treatment. Applies appropriate technique to the patient.…
