Work Shift: Primarily responsible for providing professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting. Primarily treats and transports the sick or injured. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare. Education & Training: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Completion of a vocational training program as an Emergency Medical Technician, formally known as EMT- Basic. Experience: None. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current Georgia EMT (formally EMT-Basic) certification. Valid Georgia driver’s license. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. CPT training and PEARS within 9 months of hire. FAST-ED stroke scale or obtained within three (3) months of hire.…
