Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The Hialeah Police Department Victim Advocate Unit employs one intern per college semester. The Victim Advocate Intern will assist the victim advocate unit with office duties such as: filing, faxing, creating notes, emailing information, mailing informational material, etc. Additionally, the intern will build communication skills by contacting victims of crime to inform them of their rights, the criminal justice process and resources available. The intern will gain experience to information on the criminal justice process, victim rights, crisis intervention skills, community resources available to crime victims, safety planning and the victim compensation program.…
