Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Manages laboratory operations and is responsible for all employment related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and quality assurance. May also function as Technologist to cover departmental staffing requirements. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides leadership to staff to ensure quality patient care by utilizing the performance improvement model to correct quality issues. Ensures that compliance standards are met. (20%) Oversees the development/revision of procedure manuals and reviews and signs all written procedures yearly.
