The Department of Criminal Justice at High Point University invites applications for a faculty position for the 2026-2027 academic year, at the rank of visiting assistant professor (preferred), with part-time being possible. A search for a full-time position will be launched during the academic year, and visiting faculty, with interest, are invited to apply. The position begins in August of 2026 and candidates with a master’s degree in criminal justice, a J.D., or a closely related field and applicable field experience will be strongly considered. A PhD in criminal justice and J.D. or a closely related field is preferred. Scheduled courses for fall 2026 mainly revolve around criminal law and mock trial.
