About this role
This PRN position works on various Med Surg units and is required to work a minimum of 8 shifts per month with two of these shifts being on a weekend; weekday work hours will be from 8:30am-5:00pm & weekend work hours will vary between 8:00am-4:30pm and 9:00am-5:30pm. At Houston Methodist, the Pharmacy Clinical Specialist position is responsible for performing advanced clinical pharmacy duties enabling the delivery of optimal pharmacotherapy to patients and facilitating safe, efficacious, and pharmacoeconomically rational use of medications in the population(s) served.
