EKG Editor PRN

Job Description: This position performs non-invasive cardiac EKG diagnostic tests and edits EKG's. The incumbent also performs all duties of the “EKG Technician.” Essential Functions Perform exams per department protocol and demonstrate EKG competency. Complete studies within accepted time limits without compromising patient care or the quality of the exam. Complete orders and charge entry timely and accurately. Maintain a working knowledge of how to proficiently use the department’s equipment; Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and report any variance from normal that may impact function. Schedule and prioritize exams added on throughout the day. Notify physician if critical values are identified during the test.…
