Job Description: Job Description Summary The Patient Care Technician functions as a clinical support partner, assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. Additionally, the Patient Care Technician may assume the responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator and a *Telemetry Technician. Cardiovascular-Thoracic Unit: We are a 27 bed unit We care for patients coming from the PACU, Cath Lab, ICU and ER. Patient types we care for are STEMI’s, Heart Failure, Post Open Heart, TAVR’s, Carotid’s and all things Rhythm Related. We overflow for the ICU and therefore have a wide variety of patient acuities.…
