Phlebotomy Student

Job Description: Phlebotomy Student learns how to accurately and compassionately collect patient specimens for laboratory diagnostic testing while working in a professional medical environment. Caregivers in this role will become skilled at performing venipuncture, capillary sticks and other basic phlebotomy skills before advancing into a Phlebotomist I position within Intermountain Health. (Phlebotomist I job description available upon request). Phlebotomist Student will attend a four-week course, including two weeks in the classroom and two-week externship.
