About this role

Job Description: This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the hospital. Will train to perform these duties independently and without close supervision. Schedule: Full-time Benefits Eligible Monday-Friday 1pm-930pm with rotated weekday and weekend on-call Scope 1.Operates and monitors sterilization equipment. 2. Disassembles carts and follows Universal Precautions for decontamination. 3. Sterilizes, disinfects durable medical equipment and instruments, packages clean supplies and instruments, maintains records for all instruments and transports sterilized items to the floor. 4.…
