Telemetry Technician

Job Description: The Telemetry Technician, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), is responsible for facilitating the telemetry monitoring of patients on a shift-to-shift basis. Essential Functions Monitor Cardiac Rhythms: Continuously observe patient cardiac rhythms and ensure accurate ECG readings are maintained. Interpret ECG Data: Accurately interpret and report changes in ECG rhythms to the registered nurse promptly. Telemetry Equipment Management: Prepare, maintain, and clean telemetry equipment, including replacing batteries and ECG leads prior to patient admission and post-discharge. Documentation: Accurately document ECG data, including rate, rhythm, and interval measurements, in patient records to communicate ECG history for multidisciplinary review.…
