About this role
The Process Engineer provides crucial troubleshooting assistance to Operations (batch formulation adjustments, process optimization, process flow, etc.). The engineer manages off spec production, participates in the development of rework procedures and coordinates the rework through production to convert to saleable product. The engineer initiates, develops and helps implement projects to improve safety, improve quality, increase capacity, lower costs, evaluate new technologies, evaluate new raw materials, and/or generate new business. This includes studying existing and new processes to help identify and implement improvement opportunities. The process engineer also develops engineering studies (order of magnitude estimates, feasibility studies, etc.) to support business decisions.…
