Job Description: The Surgical Services Support & Patient Care Technician is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from the operating room (OR), serving as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as directed by a licensed professional, organizing equipment, and providing general cleaning of surgical suites. Shift Details Part-time, 24 hours/week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 3 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Call and holiday required. Must be able to respond to OR within 30 minutes when on call Essential Functions Transports patients safely to and from the OR holding area, PACU or patient rooms, utilizing proper patient handling techniques, and assists with lifting positioning, and transferring patients as needed.…
