About this role
The Electronic Technician II, NAVAIDS shall maintain and repair electronics systems such as instrument landing systems (ILS), tactical air navigation system (TACAN), non-directional beacon (NDB), VHF Omni Directional Radio Range (VOR) and various weather systems. Individual shall demonstrate experience in applying advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems (i.e., those that cannot be solved by reference to manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents). Work requires extensive and thorough knowledge of the principles of electricity and electronics, shop supervision, including shop practices and techniques; and requires thorough knowledge of electronic and electrical circuitry.…
