About this role

Federal Work-Study positions are part-time positions hired each semester and are for current Ivy Tech students. The Community Service Assistant will support Habitat for Humanity's mission by assisting with construction projects, volunteer activities, warehouse operations, and administrative functions. This position provides students with valuable real-world experience while contributing to affordable housing initiatives within the community. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with residential construction projects under the supervision of Habitat staff and volunteers. Support volunteer teams during build days by helping organize materials, tools, and work areas.
