About this role

Scope: We are looking for an experienced AS400 / IBM i Administrator to manage and support IBM Power–based systems within a managed cloud services environment. The role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, availability, patching, and backup/recovery of IBM i systems across multiple customer estates, working closely with backup, maintenance, and infrastructure teams to meet operational SLAs. What you’ll do: Administer and maintain IBM i (V7R4 / V7R5) systems on IBM Power hardware, including LPAR and VIOS-level operations. Perform OS upgrades, PTF/cumulative patch application, and system maintenance during scheduled windows. Manage user profiles, authorities, subsystems, job queues, and system values.…
