Position Title: Student Employee, Library Assistant Job Description: Student Employee, Library Assistant POSITION TITLE: Student Employee, Library Assistant STATUS: Part time DEPARTMENT: Library DIVISION: Academic Affairs REPORTS TO: Department Chair CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt MINIMIUM PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour (Position is FWS Eligible) ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Shelving and re-shelving books 2. Maintaining the order of the stacks 3. Assisting with library displays 4. Pulling materials for holds 5. Performs campus errands, such as deliveries between departments 6. Light cleaning of shelves and computers 7. Assisting in processing materials for addition to the collection 8.
