When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. Under the general supervision of the Hematology Laboratory Manager, independently performs a variety of clinical assays and the associated supporting work for use in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Performs start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures on the instruments and laboratory equipment. Performs quality control and quality assurance procedures as required. Reports results via computer. May specialize in areas such as Special Coagulation, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care Testing. Assignments may include training of new employees and teaching Medical Technology students. Coverage includes rotating weekends and holidays.…
