About this role

Your job is more than a job. Lab samples or specimens can hold the answers to a patient’s health problem, suffering or recovery. As a Laboratory Assistant working under the direct supervision of medical practitioners or laboratory personnel in both an inpatient or an outpatient setting, you collect blood specimens, label specimens labeling, preserve, process, transport and store to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. And while you don’t know your patients personally, you understand that you’re helping real people who need your help to just feel better.
