About this role

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for Senior Inland Marine & Property Underwriter from our Jersey City or Newark, New Jersey; Norristown, Pennsylvania; or Cheshire, Connecticut locations. In this position you will manage an existing portfolio while actively building new business, helping grow our footprint in regions that are key focus areas for us. You’ll work closely with brokers who value strong partnership and clear, confident decision-making. Expect to be in the market shaping deals, strengthening relationships, and writing business that performs. This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. It’s visible, collaborative, and growth focused. This position follows a hybrid schedule: in the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.…
