About this role
Leidos is currently seeking a Safety Engineer to support the Antarctic Support Contract and the National Science Foundation's United States Antarctic Program. This Position is remote with annual deployments within CONUS and to OCONUS locations with a focus on Antarctic Field, Peninsula, and field region(s). Responsible for administering and implementing Occupational Safety, Health, and Risk Management strategies in field camp locations and operations that are peripheral to Antarctic stations. This position deploys frequently to Antarctic station and field environment and acts as the primary safety point of contact (POC) for projects and operations that occur in the station and field region(s).…
