The Opportunity Lesley University's Department of Social Sciences and Humanities is seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CLANG 1701 - American Sign Language I; Fall Semester 2026; Tuesdays/Fridays 8:00 am - 9:15 am; In-person, On-Campus. Course Description: This course will introduce basic skills in American Sign Language (ASL) and fingerspelling. ASL training will include learning how facial expressions serve as punctuation in a manual language. Topics will include Deaf culture and its criticism of deafness as viewed by the medical profession as well as the education of Deaf children.…
