The Opportunity Lesley University's Department of Counseling and Psychology is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach: GCOUN 6208 - Brief Therapy: Theory and Practice; Fall Semester 2026; Mondays 7:00 – 9:00 pm; In Person, On Campus. Course Description: This course will familiarize students with ideas and practices that aim to make every therapeutic interaction meaningful. The ethics, efficacy, and outcomes of various schools of Brief Therapy will be highlighted during class lectures and in course readings. Together, students will explore models of Brief Therapy through readings, discussions, videos, and in-class exercises. The course will focus on the usefulness of time-effective approaches to psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and groups.…
