About this role
Position Objective:
Conducts bedside lactation rounds daily and consults with mothers having breastfeeding problems.
Essential Job Duties:

When providing breastfeeding support and teaching to breastfeeding patients and families utilize knowledge of personality, counseling skills, and family and group theory.
Consistently and thoroughly assesses patients/families to collect data and identify learning needs according to established standards and policies.
Develops and individualizes a breastfeeding plan of care for each mother-baby couple in accordance with established standards, appropriate prioritization of problems/needs, and mutually agreed upon goals.…
