About this role
Position Objective
Performs laboratory specimen collection from patients for diagnostic purposes.
Essential Job Duties

Determines and executes the best method for obtaining biological specimens (venipuncture, capillary, heel-stick) from patients of all ages to ensure quality specimens for testing. Follows established productivity guidelines with minimal errors.
Orders appropriate tests in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) as requested by authorized providers. Accurately interprets orders, resolves unclear test orders, and ensures timely results and reports.…
