About this role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler. Checks exam orders in Epic. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to coordinate patient exams to expedite patient exams in a timely manner. Performs cancels, reschedules and makes modifications to exam orders. Must be able to schedule exams easily and quickly with few errors for the following areas: CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, echo, stress lab, sleep lab, respiratory, speech therapy, diagnostic and interventional radiology, Mercy North as well as other departments as requested. Monitors urgent exam wait list and first available list.…
