About this role
OVERVIEW A CT technologist performs CT scans to create detailed images that help doctors diagnose patients. They prepare and give contrast, review patient information, start IVs, operate CT equipment, keep patients safe, and document exam results. They also educate patients, assist radiologists, follow safety rules, and help maintain accurate medical records and images. SCHEDULE: 40-hours per week SHIFT: PRN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs diagnostic Computed Tomography procedures and techniques. Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed. Reviews patients’ clinical history ensuring that appropriate scan is ordered, and labs are within range - reviewing with radiologist and/or provider as necessary. Provides patient education.…
