About this role

OVERVIEW This job is responsible for handling emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching the correct emergency services, and giving instructions to callers when needed. The person must monitor multiple radio and phone lines, coordinate with hospitals, fire departments, police, medical teams, and helicopter services, and make sure emergency communication systems are working properly. SCHEDULE : 40-hours per week SHIFT : Nights ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Takes scheduled and emergency requests for REACT, NICU, ER, Labor and Delivery, Security, ECC, Pecatonica and Win-Bur-Sew Fire Departments, Metro Medical Services, Inc. and Rockford.
