CNA Job Overview Title Nurse Aide I - Non-Exempt The Nurse Aide I functions in an assistive role in the provisions of Client Care Activities through regular assignments or delegated tasks, all supervised by the RN. The NAI demonstrates the ability to carry out specific tasks with reasonable skill and safety, while supervised by an RN, that adheres to the prevailing standard of practice in the nursing community. The NAI is responsible for accepting delegation from the supervising RN, seeking further clarification of and affirming those expectations, performing the tasks correctly and timely communicating results to the supervising RN.
