About this role

Job Description The primary responsibility is to provide interpreting/transliterating in a variety of situations related to the educational/accessibility needs of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing students campus-wide. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree. Experience in interpreting. Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modes used by Deaf individuals. Knowledge of RID/NAD Code of Ethics and Deaf Culture (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf/National Association of the Deaf). Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications: RID Certification. Bachelor’s Degree. Experience interpreting in a college setting. Knowledge of Math, English and a wide range of college subjects.…
