Job Description Summary The Phlebotomy Technician reports to the Laboratory Manager. Under general supervision, the Phlebotomy Technician plans and provides phlebotomy services for patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position functions as an experienced member of the phlebotomy team and provides instruction to students/new employees in accordance with the scope of a phlebotomist. The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for preparing patients for blood collection, collecting blood from patients, ensuring accurate labeling, and delivering this blood to the laboratory for testing.…
