About this role

Job Description Summary The Hemapheresis Unit is located on the 8th floor of the Extension Hospital (Rm. 886). We provide both inpatient and outpatient services to the adult and pediatric populations. The unit operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 4 :30 p.m. (Staffed 0700-1530) with after hours RN on call, including urgent and emergent weekend inpatient coverage. Apheresis Services include but are not limited to: Therapeautic Plasma Exchanges, Cell Depletion, Red Cell Exchanges, Photopheresis, and Lipid apheresis. The goal of the hemapheresis unit and the interdisciplinary team members is to assist the referring departments in providing services to those individuals that will benefit from the therapies we perform and have a chance for improved quality of life.…
