Poison Information Provider (Contingent)

Overview: Job Description Summary: Aids in the assessment and management of poisonings and toxicology under the continuous supervision of a Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI). Acts as an ‘extender’ of the CSPI by assisting with telephone prioritization of possible poison exposures, documenting histories, calculating dosages of potentially toxic drugs, and assisting with other documentation and routine follow-up calls.
