POSITION - Union: Chief Garage Mechanic NUMBER OF OPEN POSITIONS: 1 LOCATION: BGC - MA – Pittsfield HOURLY RATE: $40/hour Qualifications Must possess all the qualifications and be able to perform the duties of a Garage Mechanic. Formal automotive education with at least 5 years’ experience in technical automotive and heavy-duty service. Must be superior technician with strong diagnostic skills and ability to work well independently. Thorough knowledge of compressed natural gas vehicle program including compressor function and repair. Ability to work cooperatively with others and gain their cooperation. Willingness to accept further education as deemed necessary by supervision. Experience in computerized Fleet Management System and Inventory Control. Duties Schedule and assign daily work.…
