The Senior Accountant supports Neogen's global accounting operations with a focus on ASC 842 lease accounting, intercompany activity, reconciliations, and close processes. This role partners with finance and cross-functional teams across multiple entities to help ensure accurate financial reporting, timely issue resolution, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain lease accounting activities in accordance with ASC 842, including operating and finance leases. Prepare and review lease-related journal entries, amortization schedules, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
