Gas Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist Job Summary The Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist ensures compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR Part 192 Subpart N (Operator Qualification Rule) by evaluating and verifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities of personnel performing covered tasks. This role is responsible for administering written, computer-based, and performance-based assessments to promote technical competency, operational excellence, and the highest standards of public and employee safety.
