About this role
Position Summary The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Comptroller and is responsible for assisting with month and year-end closeouts, the annual audit, and NOLA-PS’s financial reporting requirements to the Board of Education and the state. The Senior Accountant also manages the annual audit process culminating in the district’s audit report as well as day-to-day activities. Additionally, the Senior Accountant helps implement and maintain a system of internal controls in consultation with finance professionals.
